Week 8 EOC: Creative Content

For my creative content I am going to write a commercial script. I will go through the entire production process. First writing, coming up with a catchy tagline and effective way to entice the audience member into wanting to purchase my product. Then casting, bringing on the right voice talent whom not only has a great voice but a great delivery of that voice. The recording, making sure that I "put gold in" so I can "get gold out." Meaning that the recording needs to be precise on every end, levels, clarity, length and delivery. The sound design, having the right sense of atmosphere to further entice the audience members. The mix, ensuring that the right amount of EQ, re-verb and compression are applied to achieve the perfect mix. Lastly, the mastering process, not only ensuring the entire mix was good but bringing out the entire mix to ensure superior quality.

Week 6 EOC: Me X 3

  Protools 10 defines me as who I am because I am an Audio Engineer. I have been using ProTools since I was in high school, and I won't lie at first I thought I would never understand how to use the program. Eventually after a few classes I got a huge handle on it and would never use another program to get the job done. I will always rely on this industry standard professional DAW. 

 The STEDICAM Merlin is the INDY affordable STEDICAM. This item defines me because when I'm not acting as the Audio Engineer, I am the Film Maker. I'm usually the one behind the camera and if you've ever held a camera or tried to shoot a short film you know one of the worst things to deal with is footage that is too shaky. This is a very recent purchase of mine and I absolutely love this thing. It takes a while to dial in the right calibration for your camera but if you put in the time on getting it just right it brings the production value of your film up tenfold! 

 The PreSonus Studio Live 16.4.2 is a game changer for sure it unfortunately is not a controller though. It is a very power in studio and live console. Its Fat Channel allows the user to no longer have to buy out board EQ's and Compression. This board defines me because I'm not only an Audio Engineer but I need to save time and money on productions this board definitely allows me to do that.
